Voted Minnesota PGA Teacher of the Year

Dan DeMuth, PGA Professional, was named Minnesota Section PGA Teacher of the Year by a panel of his peers. Dan has been a teaching PGA Professional for 16 years, and owns Better Golf/Performance in Motion.

Dan teaches out of a modern indoor studio/office facility in Golden Valley as well as on-course training while playing with his students. Dan is committed to a Coaching relationship with his students many of whom have dropped their handicaps significantly and have worked with him over many years. Winter coaching takes place in the indoor facility and outdoor training takes place on-course as Minnesota weather permits. He also has many corporate programs that involve team building and focus exercises.
"The concept of Focus, is not new to sport or business, but we treat it in a new and creative way that allows students to excel", DeMuth said. "The idea of taking a series of lessons, which includes workbook sessions, videotape reviews and team discussion and analysis is a very new approach to golf and the use of this approach to business improvement".
